The Mango survived for so long but now has some damage. but not too bad really, it is very green in side.that reddish brown color is not new growth, it is burn from the freezes.
This is the pomegranate and the egg fruit and a banana, who knows what will happen with them the bananas usually come back from the ground, The eggs fruit is only partially damaged, the pomegranate well we will see. Some of these are just too big to cover with sheets. I used them on the cocoa tree, and the coconut trees, and some of the really tender ones.
This is the hog plum by the stairs it really took a hit. last time we had frost it did just fine but look at it now. Course this time the freezes were hard freezes and they lasted for days. Both trees are hit hard but it think the one in the yard is better off for some reason. Now i can look at which areas were good and which ones were not. maybe
I could not put up all the damage this is just a few pictures to show you what our yards are looking like.
With so many days below freezing my subtropical plants and even some hardier ones have taken a beating. It is odd looking sometimes, there are some really green ones right next to definitely brown and burnt ones. We will have to just wait and see what survives.

Yeah you usually don't think of Florida as cold but every 30 years or so they have a hard freeze, this year it just lasted a longer time.
