Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Of course you have to have Christmas Eve with the Story of the Savior's birth, this year again, we broadcast it live to Logan, to include the Knorrs. But the technical difficulties made it so we lost one of the families. Tanya and her family could not stay and went home to put the little kids to bed. Josef finally arrived with his family and we had a nice program with Sonia playing the piano, scripture readings and lots of Christmas songs. Plus for once there were not lots of presents left to wrap. The boys had to wrap presents for each other then went off to Josef's house and made the broken toe. They were slow to get up and so we even had breakfast first. Which had never happened until this year. Crazy what happens when everyone starts growing up. I kind of missed the scampering of those little ones and their squeaks and squeals as they found their stockings and the unwrapped things they could play with until I felt like getting up.

Then there are presents. Of course the boys have lots of fun with them.

Hyrum opening his Warriors of the Promised Land game ." Very complex" according to Hyrum. Steven with a new shirt.


Rudy and Sam with their out fits. Shirts and a bridge shirt from Kyle and a hat form Mom. Bruce was excited to see he had the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,all three movies. A favorite from when he was 3.



We always play puzzles and games. Here is Dad he was having a Spider Solitaire marathon. Which was very funny since at one point he claimed he never played this particular game. Gottcha Dad!.

Sam came and helped i think he did all the sky. That was a hard part


Everyone was looking for the right pieces. I think Dad was organizing them by shape.



Kyle also played puzzles. OOPS! i guess it wasn't Dad organizing the pieces by shape. I didn't think anyone else did their puzzles that way. Any way they finished before the day was done and had a fun time. We also played Othello, and Blokus, and had many fun competitions. even the little kids played. Uncle Bruce had a great war going with Nyssa with her cowboy game Bandits. She and Anna love to play games with uncle Bruce.
