Sam finished his Eagle Project and has his Board of Review. The project was to make a recycle area at Wickham Park. and to Paint the bath house at the cmp ground. there had been a cement slab and they put trash cans on it for the cans and bottles etc. but there was a brush fire at the park and it caused the shed which stored chemicals to explode ruining the pad. So Sam's project was remove the old pad put in a new one with a few posts and chains to hold the cans in place and also to paint a bath house ion the campground nearby which was showing some wear. It was a fun project. but we were worried because it rained every day right up to the day or so before. The park ranger was very happy with the project. thr guys had a lot of fun mixing cement with a vintage cement mixer. adn the rest painted, taped, and picked up trash. The really little ones washed the side walk to keep the paint drips and foot prints washed up. We had homemade bread and oranges, bananas, and grapes. Sam will get his Eagle party (with his last merit badges) when he comes home for christmas break, right inbetween wisdom teeth extraction, friends, family parties and Christmas.
