CCC 2nd Match

Here is Sam's 2nd match. they wrestled 2 rounds Friday night and then we came back Saturday and finished up. Here he is wrestling Jeff Romanelli from Melbourne High they are the Bulldogs. The object of the game is to make the other boy lay on his back on the mat. If you can get both shoulder blade touching the mat for 2 seconds you win by a pin. If you expose his back to the mat the referee will start counting seconds usually by waving his arm out to the side if you hold him for 2 seconds you get 2 points if it is more you get 3 points called back points, meaning you exposed his back to the mat. The ref will signal this by holding up his arm with 2 or 3 fingers up. The color of the wrist band is the guy who gets those points. The ref wears one red band and one green band. You start in a neutral position, both guys standing. If one can take the other to the mat and be in control he gets 2 points, called take down. If you can get out of the bottom position you can get 1 point this is called an escape. Sam has pinned both these guys and pretty quickly. The match ends when one person gets pinned Otherwise it goes for 2 minutes starting in neutral position. Then 2 minutes with one guy up and one guy down, or standing in neutral position depending on the choices by the flip on the coin, Then one more 2 minute period position dependant on the choices of the boys and their coaches and the flip of the coin. It only goes past 6 minutes of there is a tie.
