Cape Coast Conference

OK so we have been busy with wrestling, it starts in October and goes through February if you get to go to Districts and Regionals. Usually only the Varsity team gets to go. We are now done with wrestling for another year so we can catch up on stuff. At the end of wrestling season, we have a meet called Cape Coast Conference ( i will just call it CCC) with all the schools in our county. We get to see who has the best wrestlers of all the whole county. Our schools are not all the same size some are 2A, 3A, 4A. etc. One year we were a 6A school, this year our school is a 3A nest year it is supposed to be a 2A we have a new school opening which will take some of our students, if budget cuts don't change things. So any way we don't see all the wrestlers in the county during the season. So conference is a big deal. Also if you win, you get a jacket that says Champion and your weight class. It is a big deal for the boys and in our family with all the wrestlers we have never had a conference winner. Josef won first at Districts, Regionals and at State, but took second at CCC. So 16 years and with 5 boys later here we are. Still wrestling. This is the first match for Sam at CCC we arae wrestling at Merritt Island High School and Sam is wrestling 135 pounds. I am looking for his brackets to tell us who and what school he is wrestling. i don't recognize the singlet right off. Oh yeah, Sam is wearing the black singlet with the skull and cross bones on the front . Or watch for the white hair. We are the Palm Bay Pirates. We also have quite a reputation as having really good wrestlers. You will sit in the audience and hear "man i have to wrestle that kid from Palm Bay he is really good".
