Here you can see the corner of the house with out the 9x9 post scary huh! But it sure is nice to get something holding up the house. That 9x9 rotted off and broke 5 years ago in the year of the hurricanes. The cement pad for under the stairs and landing is next. Not more weeds and if anything falls through the stairs you can retrieve it easily. Next is Sam's blonde head peeking up barely above the deck with the new 6x6 corner to hold up the roof. The other one was rotted and eaten by carpenter ants and carpenter bees and any number of chewing and burrowing insects. It is fun watching Dad and Uncle Bruce work together. They are good friends. Here is Rudy , i think this one belongs in the shenanigans post. He was showing us what the hard hats are for. Here he is helping hold up the 2x6 for the stairs. There will be 2 of these with the little step parts in between then on the other side of the steps there will be 2 more 2x6's with the little steps holders bolted in between as well.
