Done at Last

Here you can see the final product. Looks nice.

Here you can see the slats as they did not fit under the hand rail. WE were very tired of working on this project and really wanted to just leave it. But Uncle Bruce would not let us, so Uncle Bruce, Dad and the boys did some fine tuning on Saturday of spring break, The slats that stuck out on the stairs down were removed and cut down a board so they come flush with the hand rail.

A much finer finish, was achieved.

That landing will be replaced later.
The stairs look nice.
I am so happy with the end result. We have lots more to do of course, but i smile every time I come up those stairs.

Thanks to the hard work and sacrifice of time from Bruce, Josef, Dad, Sam, Rudy, Steven, and Hyrum. Josef was in school and took of some time, the boys gave up their whole spring break every day of it. Uncle Bruce flew out here and even moved back his return date to finish the project. He worked hard every day, harder than any retired person should. And of course Sarah who sometimes had to fill in my other jobs of chief cook and bottle washer.
